The idea has been in the works for years, with countless discussions and brainstorm sessions to refine our directions. We want to recognize the diverse needs of various investors, impact entrepreneurs, incubators/accelerators, financial intermediaries, capacity builders, network organizations, and the Indonesian government.

After a lot of hard work and dedication, we got our first board members to commit time and energy. Our board is made up of passionate individuals who have come together to create a collaborative, non-competing, and inclusive impact investment facilitation. We‘ve set our principles and we‘re ready to make a difference.

We launched in May 2023 as a non-profit organization supported by the Ministry of National Development Planning, United Nations Development Program, and the Ford Foundation. We are joining a network of a growing group of organizations - currently made up of 30 National and Regional advisory boards, covering 36 countries under the Global Steering Group for Impact Investment.

The journey ahead may be long and challenging, but we‘re up for it. We‘re committed to driving positive change through impact investing, and we‘re excited to work with fund providers and impactful startups to create a more sustainable and equitable future.
